Tree Netting – Prudhoe

Overview:

The client was developing the site but was unsure of the start date. JTS were tasked with netting these large trees to prevent birds nesting.  A larger than normal crew were engaged on the ground and at a height to spread out the nets and fasten them together with cable ties.

We sub-contracted the high lift operation to ES Access Platforms of Birtley.  They went into liquidation in 2013 but we continue to use RKP Platforms, an offshoot of the original firm, now  run by a relative of the former owner.

The trees were subsequently felled in early August 2006.
